The MRGB2000B-1A has a full metal strap that is derived from the basic MRGB2000. A traditional Japanese scale pattern is used on the surface of the dial, while the outside is cut into a shape that resembles a Japanese fan, creating a stunning impression. The smooth concave surfaces of the indexes resemble the curvature of a samurai sword, while the inner surface of the bezel, built-in dials and logo are in the bold color of kachi-iro.
The MRGB2000R-1A is a durable fluororubber strap with a signature Bishamon tortoiseshell finish – a symbol of strength in Japan since ancient times. While both models are equipped with a deeply layered, hardened titanium case, the unique bezel of the MRGB2000R-1A is made of recrystallized titanium. The heat treatment of titanium creates a characteristic crystal pattern on its surface that never resembles that on Japanese sword blades.
Both models have old Japanese strength and aesthetics that combine well with the absolute robustness of G-SHOCK and the best technical features such as Tough Movement, Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping and Full Time Link Bluetooth connectivity.

A graphic display of the time reception status, the status of solar power generation and the internal progress updates can be followed via the dedicated MR-G Connected smartphone app. In addition, time changes between home city and world, alarm and time settings as well as an expansion to 300 city word times can be achieved. There is also a unique phone finder feature that allows the user to ping their smartphone from the watch to find it within range.
The MRGB2000B-1A and MRGB2000R-1A will be available in retail stores $ 3,000 They will be available from March at selected G-SHOCK dealers, in the G-SHOCK Soho Store and at gshock.com.
