“We are very pleased to be breaking the first sod in our newest data center. Mesa stood out as a great location for a number of reasons. It has great access to infrastructure, renewable energy development opportunities, strong talent for both construction and operation, and great community partners. Thank you to the Arizona Commerce Authority, the City of Mesa, the Salt River Project, the Eastmark Community, the Bonneville Environmental Foundation, the State of Arizona, and all of our partners for helping us come today. We are excited to join the Mesa community and look forward to a strong partnership for years to come, ”said Rachel Peterson, VP of Infrastructure, Facebook.
