State-owned BHEL Limited plans to manufacture complete solar panels in India, backed by the government's plan to encourage local manufacturing through incentives under the Atmanirbhar Bharat program.
The company plans a complete value chain: from the raw material quartz (polysilicon) to wafers to finished products such as cells and modules.
