Prospective employees applying with Saguache County will be required to submit and pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check. Utility Person position – applicants will be performing a wide variety of manual and limited semi-skilled tasks such as building and grounds construction, maintenance and repair work. Works as a flagman on maintenance projects and performs other work as assigned. Must have knowledge of common hand and power tools, shovels, wrenches and radios. Must be able to lift 25 to 50 pounds. The Center for Rural School Health & Education (CRSHE) is hiring a Community Coordinator for the Developing Resiliency and Equitable Approaches to Mental health (DREAM) Project. The DREAM project is funded by the Colorado Health Foundation and aims to improve the mental health of educators, students, and families in the San Luis Valley and Southeastern Colorado. This is a 1.5-year position with the potential to extend employment, depending on funding. Responsibilities include: assisting with development of project materials, collecting and processing community feedback, supporting meetings and events, connecting with community members and organizations, and managing various project logistics. Successful candidate will have excellent communication skills; the ability to present to diverse audiences, and a strong commitment to equity. Bilingual Spanish-English preferred. This is a full-time work-from-home position based in the San Luis Valley that requires local travel and occasional travel to Denver (approximately 3 times per year). Salary range for this position is $45,000-$50,000 depending on experience.
