GameChange Solar Provides Monitoring System for the biggest PV mission in Texas

| |

GameChange Solar, a manufacturer of fixed pitch solar shelving and trackers, says it is providing a 631 MW Genius tracker system for the largest solar PV project in Texas.

The project consists of 1.4 million solar panels on 4,000 acres in Wharton County and will have a capacity of 500 MW AC. In order to meet the growing regional demand, the electricity generated at the project location will be bought online in blocks and sold to the ERCOT wholesale market this year. The EPC assumes that the project will be completed in mid-2022.

“We're focused on excellent logistical support and training to ensure this 631 MW project in Texas runs smoothly and successfully for the EPC and the project owner,” said Allison Larson, director of business development at GameChange Solar. “The system uses the proven and quick-to-install Genius Tracker with pre-assembled SpeedClamps, which increases the installation speed compared to typical competitors. We look forward to more of these large supply projects in Texas and elsewhere. ”
