GE Selects Australia to Launch New Line of Solar Inverters – pv journal Worldwide

Just as Australia thought its pioneering days were over, it is the first country in the world to sell General Electric's new solar inverters.

ACThe noteworthy company GoodWe now manufactures General Electric inverters for the Australian solar market.

The GE Solar Inverter range comprises three inverter solutions, the first of which is a single-phase inverter for living areas. The second is also for rooftop solar systems, but is larger while the The third is a three-phase inverter for commercial and industrial use.

GE selected GoodWe as a licensed partner in 2020. “GoodWe is the right choice, ”said Thomas Buccellato, senior managing director of GE Licensing.

The company says its goal is to be “a major technological innovator in Australia's ever-growing solar industry”. The new inverters are currently only available in Australia. Further information on the individual inverters can be found on the GE product page.
