Panasonic's 25-year parts and labor warranty on all components of the residential solar energy system is being extended to provide homeowners with more shelf options. It now includes work on IronRidge shelving systems when installed by a Panasonic authorized installer.

The previous warranty covered labor time for solar panels by Authorized Panasonic, Premium, and Elite Installers, but only applied to a single provider of monitoring, interconnection hardware, and racking. The new, extended labor guarantee also covers the shelves provided by IronRidge. Panasonic's AllGuard warranty reduces the labor costs associated with maintaining valid warranty claims for the solar panel and certain other hardware components.

“Panasonic is constantly looking for ways to improve the products, solutions and warranty options we offer homeowners to add even more value to their investments,” said Mukesh Sethi, director of solar and energy solutions for Panasonic Life Solutions Company of America. “By adding IronRidge to our warranted shelving system, Panasonic is building on its great warranty to offer more options to consumers who value Panasonic's reputation for unbeatable reliability and performance. Over 40 years of research and development in the field of solar energy and strict quality checks have made Panasonic a leading provider of energy solutions for the home. “

“IronRidge is excited to be a member of, and be covered by, the Panasonic AllGuard Warranty Program,” said Rich Tiu, CEO of IronRidge. “It speaks for Panasonic's confidence in the performance of its products over their service life. IronRidge's 25-year warranty reflects our commitment to making high quality products that will last. It is equally important to design products that can easily be installed correctly and in accordance with building codes in order to avoid or reduce complaints. The winner here is the installer and his customer. “
