Clenergy's PV-ezRack has launched two new low-ballast solar mounting systems for flat roofs – the PV-ezRack Ascent and the PV-ezRack Ascent Wings.
The PV-ezRack Ascent is a low-ballast, south / north-facing solution without rails for PV installation on flat roofs. The PV-ezRack Ascent Wings are a restless system with low ballast and east / west orientation that offers optimal surface utilization and yield for structurally demanding roofs with limited ballast options. With several angle options, Ascent Wings enables maximum energy generation, notes PV-ezRack.
Both Ascent and Ascent Wings are improvements to the PV-ezRack ComT with ballast, a mounting solution that was developed exclusively for ballast systems last year. According to PV-ezRack, the newly developed products have an optimized structure and a more flexible angle of inclination with easier installation and lower ballast compared to ComT with ballast.
“Clenergy has invested heavily in the R&D sector in recent years,” says Lannes Cai, technical manager at Clenergy. “Our in-house research and development team has so far developed seven innovative product lines for flat roofs. We will continue to invest more in product development in order to meet the globally diversified technical requirements for solar applications. “
In addition, the PV-ezRack Ascent and Ascent Wings were subjected to the strict boundary layer wind tunnel test carried out by the established wind tunnel test agency Wacker Ingenieure GmbH (Wacker). The test report is available on request.
