Silfab Solar launches a brand new vary of PV modules with again contact

| |

Silfab Solar, a North American PV manufacturer, has launched Silfab Elite, its next generation of rear contact modules exclusively developed in the US for the residential solar market. The Elite line – SIL 370-380 BK – has an efficiency of up to 21.4%. Silfab has already won leading sales partners for the new model

“Silfab continues to develop products specifically designed for the North American homeowner,” said Paolo Maccario, President and CEO of Silfab. “The Elite line offers homeowners a very attractive appearance, a smaller footprint and reassuring quality from more than 35 years of experience in solar production.”

According to Silfab, the Elite Series is an integration of the company's latest technology, decades of global technical expertise, and precise manufacturing processes that use the highest quality materials and strict quality control measures.

The new Elite series from Silfab will be the company's most efficient and long-lasting solar module. The panel works at lower temperatures together with an output in poor lighting conditions, which together increase the energy yield on a kWh / kWp basis by up to 6%. The advanced rear contact technology reduces the metallization of the front cells – minimizes shading losses – and at the same time reduces the deadlocked mechanical stress on the electrical contacts, which leads to improved performance, better long-term reliability and higher efficiency.

Operating some of the largest highly automated manufacturing facilities in North America, Silfab has perfected the production methods and made exclusive agreements with innovators to bring the modules to market
