TRENTON, SC (WRDW / WAGT) – Generac Power Systems Inc., a leading energy technology company, has announced plans to expand operations in Edgefield County.
This expansion will create in addition to the 450 300 new jobs announced in February, for a total of 750 jobs.

Generac offers a wide range of power and energy solutions, including backup and primary generator systems; motorized and battery operated tools and equipment; as well as solar and battery storage systems.
Generac is located at 30 Industrial Park Blvd. in Trento. The building also serves as a distribution center for customers in the southeast.
“Generac's announcement shows the seemingly unlimited growth of our economy. After the establishment of the company in South Carolina at the beginning of this year, Generac is already expanding and creating 300 more jobs. We are proud of this expansion and all the good that will come from it, ”said Governor Henry McMaster.
Edgefield County also received a $ 750,000 decommissioning grant to support costs related to this project.
