Adani Inexperienced commissions 25 MW solar plant in Chitrakoot – ETEnergyworld.com

New Delhi: Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) commissioned a 25 MW solar power plant in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh on Monday. Adani Solar Energy Chitrakoot One Ltd, a subsidiary of AGEL, has put the solar power plant into operation, according to a company statement.

This plant has a power purchase agreement with Noida Power Company Ltd (NPCL) for 3.08 rupees / kWh. With this commissioning, AGEL's total renewable capacity has grown to 2,975 MW.

The system will be connected to AGEL's state-of-the-art Energy Network Operation Center, which continuously monitors and analyzes the performance of over 80 solar and wind power plants at various locations in India.

With the commissioning of this project, AGEL will have a total renewable capacity of 14,795 MW, including 11,820 MW that are allocated and in implementation.

“Adani Green is on track to reach 25 GW of renewable capacity by 2025 and to become the world's largest renewable energy company by 2030. It also reaffirms AGEL's commitment to taking a strategic approach and India's transition to a greener future drive operational excellence, “said Vneet S Jaain, MD & CEO, said AGEL.

Recently, despite the challenges of the ongoing pandemic, AGEL also put a 100 MW solar power plant into operation. ]]
